The crippling sex addiction the main character Brandon (Michael Fassbender) struggles through manifests itself in endless streams of seductions, porn, prostitutes and special alone moments. At times I sat in the cinema uncomfortably aware that I was watching Fassbender’s endless ‘Happy endings’ whilst surrounded by strangers.
